GLOSSARY OF UNIVIDUAL TERMS

Emergent Spirituality – The philosophy that everything emerges into existence through the process of evolution, including the purpose of life, the immortality of the soul, and the presence traditionally called ‘God’.

Emergence – The process of evolution through which new qualities of existence builds on what has previously emerged

Genealogical multiverse – The idea that our universe has arisen from past universes that have preceded it.

Imagnos – The objective imaginal level of reality as described by most spiritual traditions.

Communion of souls  – Psyches or souls in the state of communion creating a supersystem that is experienced as a sublime presence traditionally called ‘God’.

Deep awake state  – The experience traditional known as ‘spiritual awakening’ that arises when we enter a state of communion with the universe.
